Graduate Program
Ph.D program in Molecular & Cellular Pathobiology (MCP)
The MCP program prepares students for independent careers in biomedical research related to molecular mechanisms of human disease. The program is research-intensive, with a flexible curriculum tailored to a student’s background and research interests. Students are exposed to the latest conceptual and technical developments in biomedical research and develop critical analysis, and communication skills, as well as technical proficiency. The unique strengths of the MCP program are the flexible course of study, highly individualized advising, and the dual clinical/basic research nature of the Department of Pathology.
All students admitted to the program are provided with a stipend, health insurance and full tuition coverage. Most students complete the program in 5 years.
