ProfessorBiography
Dr. Qureshi practices general surgical pathology with emphasis on perinatal pathology, particularly in the area of placental pathology and fetal pathology. Other interests of Dr. Qureshi also include gynecologic pathology and pathology of soft tissue and bone.

Dr. Qureshis interests focus on placental pathology, fetal pathology, and gynecologic pathology. His research is primarily in placental pathology, including viral and bacterial infections, abnormalities of membrane rupture, and placental vascular abnormalities. His interests also include fetal congenital anomalies and genetic disorders, with emphasis on diagnosis in the second trimester of pregnancy and correlation with the ultrasound findings. His research in the area of stillbirth has focused on fetal neuropathological abnormalities and associated placental abnormalities.
