Wayne State University is located about 2 miles from downtown Detroit and the tunnel to Windsor, Ontario. Detroit offers a rich variety of cultural, social, athletic, and recreational activities. The extensive urban renewal of Detroit has greatly improved living conditions in the vicinity of the Medical Center.
