Welcome New Faculty - Dr. Meng-Jer Lee

Dr. Meng-Jer Lee joined our department as a tenure-track Associate Professor. Dr. Lee’s laboratory studies Sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), a serum-borne bioactive lipid, with a focus on S1P-mediated signaling pathways in vascular functions, inflammation, and tumorigenesis. Dr. Lee received his PhD degree from McGill University (Montreal, Canada), and postdoctoral fellowship training at the Holland Laboratory/American Red Cross and University of Connecticut Health Science Center. Prior to moving to Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Lee was a faculty at the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky.
