            <title>Welcome New Faculty - Dr. Meng-Jer Lee</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www-dev.pathology.med.wayne.edu/profile.php?id=44830">Dr. Meng-Jer Lee</a> joined our department as a tenure-track Associate Professor. Dr. Lee&rsquo;s laboratory studies Sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), a serum-borne bioactive lipid, with a focus on S1P-mediated signaling pathways in vascular functions, inflammation, and tumorigenesis. Dr. Lee received his PhD degree from McGill University (Montreal, Canada), and postdoctoral fellowship training at the Holland Laboratory/American Red Cross and University of Connecticut Health Science Center. Prior to moving to Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Lee was a faculty at the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky.</p>]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Paul Tranchida received his M.D. from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1998. He completed his post graduate training as a resident in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Department of Pathology of Wayne State University/the Detroit Medical Center in 2004. Subsequently, he completed two fellowships at the Henry Ford Health System in Pathology Informatics; 2006 and in Cytopathology; 2007. Dr. Tranchida returned to our department for a Surgical Pathology Fellowship training primarily at Harper University Hospital and the Karmanos Cancer Center.</p>]]></description>
